Well March Break has officially started for me. We left Detroit today about 7:45am and by 9:30 we had our luggage and were waiting outside in the warm sunshine for our hotel shuttle. Tom had arranged for early checking at our hotel and we went right up to our room and changed into our bathing suits.

The suite is even larger than we expected. Laura’s room has two bunk beds, a queen sized bed, TV, and full bathroom. My bedroom is slightly smaller includes a King Sized bed, an on-suite bath, and has just a gorgeous view of the ocean.

The ocean only has a few brave souls swimming in it as the water temp is a brisk 65F. Much too cold for me but I have already seen some dolphins swimming along the beach. The beach stretches for miles in each direction and as I quickly type this short entry, the sound of the waves crashing fills the room. That’s it for now, but stay tuned for more later… Forecast is for cooler temps starting tomorrow. :-(
