Wild Hogs in Lake George?

Today was lots of fun. We stopped into the Harley dealership to rent a couple of hogs but they did not have any available so we went down the street and rented a scooter and a scootercar for the half day instead.

We buzzed around town a bit and then headed off along the scenic west side of Lake George up to Bolton’s Landing for an outdoor lunch and lemonade at Frank’s Roadside Patio. We’re now back at the hotel enjoying a pitcher of Margaritas and a swim.

  1. looks like you both had fun on your scooters. It would have been a sight to see dad on the scooter, to bad no pictures.

  2. The picture of you Mum in the scooter made me laugh so hard! Are they fun to drive?
You and Dad should load one up in the truck for Duncan & I to run around town in :)

  3. Laura: the Baccio scooter I had was more roomy to ride than Mom’s ninja, so I didn’t look that bad. :raz: It indicated 60mph going downhills but as low as a third of that going up the biggest hills. (I think I can, I think I can…)

Jaclyn: Martha had a blast in the scootercar but unfortunately she was a little short in the legs to hold the gas-pedal all the way to the floor. She didn’t feel confident on her scooter, so we returned it and upgraded her ride to the scootercar. It was a great way to spend a half day exploring the surrounding area.

  4. I have seen the movie “Wild Hogs” and my advice is watch out for low hanging signs, birds flying at face level and please, NO SKINNY DIPPING SCENES.

On a more serious note, Looks like you all are having a great time and the area is beautiful. Keep the pics coming and have a good time.
