I can see clearly now!

Yesterday my life changed. It was a miracle!
I underwent laser eye surgery called LASIK. This is a procedure where I had my nearsighted vision corrected by an excimer laser. All went well! It has been 40 years and I can now see without wearing my glasses!

It was done in Windsor Ontario by Dr Probst at the TLC Laser Eye Centre. Tom and I drove down yesterday for 10:55, I was done at 11:50 and home by 3pm. The Atavan they gave me did not really kick in and I asked a technician named Hilary to hold my hand. Tom watched everything queekzily on a TV monitor. We went back today for a check up and I got two thumbs up. The healing continues with a regiment of drops and lots of zzzzzzzz’s.

  1. I think it’s great! I guess I should look into it too. But I’m not rich like you. I’m glad everything went well. I’ll call you this week.

  2. Way to go Martha…I’m proud of you. You sounded great on the phone and now you are sharing your experiences with us on the blog.

  3. Ian… We hate to admit this, but Karen said it was OK to use your credit card for this procedure. She was very sympathetic towards the plight of the poor Ontario farmers again this year.
