Ontario’s deep freeze

How is everyone coping with the deep freeze that we are having? It registered -22c on the car thermostate this morning when I drove the boys to school. Catherine you may be used to this kind of weather but we who live on the banana belt are chivering to death.

  1. The squeak of the snow, the forehead freezes, the subtle reminder to keep your hands (and everything else)covered at the risk of dropping off – yes.. I’m so glad the banana belt gets to share all this.

  2. It’s been cold and clear and crunchy here by the Thames River. Today there were snow flurries in the morning and now I see it is warming up to 0. To cope,I cozy up with Tom in front of the tv, put on a throw blanket and dig the slippers out of the closet. I have been on the Oprah Diet shedding a few pounds. The cabbage soup hits the spot.
