Hope everyone is enjoying the weather and the festivities over this long awaited weekend. We are officially all finished planting for the season! Tom finished drilling the soybeans on the home farm on Friday. He and Bob got Lachine’s beans all in shortly after noon on Saturday with time to spare. With the weather being so nice Tom took off for a motorcycle ride and ended up at the grand opening of the new Duke’s Harley Davidson dealership on 401.
I was at Duke’s serving food and refreshments to hundreds of hungry bikers and enjoying the crowds. There was lots of leather, tatooes and of course chrome to satisfy everyones fancy. The owners were very generous to allow Chatham-Kent Search & Rescue and Reach International, a children’s charity which I am affiliated with, run the concession stand.
Martha loved the crowds and the attention she received from the
bikers as one of the bun girls.
Hope you are enjoying the new ride. I think I saw your co-pilot in New Orleans??
Martha did you wear your black leather tank top and your black studded belt? This was the first thing that came to mind.
