Martha, Laura, and I have new neighbours living across the road. We had a woman that was interested in renting the little white house when Jaclyn announced she would like to live there. Jaclyn and her boyfriend Josh started sharing rent at the beginning of April and are getting settled into their new home. Well today they came across to visit and introduce us to their new roommate. They would like to introduce you to
Duncan. He just arrived today via Westjet from Edmonton. He’s an 8 week old merle Great Dane and is cute as can be. Very curious, comfortable with people, and thank goodness tolerant of Lucas the cat. Click thumbnails to enlarge the images.
Dear Ja and Jo
Awh… he is so cute, but look at the size of his paws already! I love his name Duncan. Are you going to get his ears pricked? or do they do that anymore to Great Danes? Have fun this weekend playing Mom and Dad for the first time.
Looks like the neighbourhood is growing…and I guess that’s not all that will be growing for a while. All the best. Take care. Miss you.
He’s awfully cute!! I’d like to come see him some time soon. If he likes tennis balls, I’ll bring some over!
He bites, he drools, he growls in his sleep, and he piddles when he’s excited…
…but I love him very much.
We won’t be getting his ears cropped. we love the flop too much to give it up, but I am positive he’d have a chew or two on a tennis ball.
Thanks for all positive comments. We look forward to introducing you all to Duncan in person!
Our little boy is such a handful and we are having so much fun with our new little family. Today was his first time home alone and we are very proud that we found his sleeping area still in one piece. Auntie Laura even went to check on him after her classes.
His new trick is that he can go up AND down the stairs. (Thank Goodness – a 16 pound wiggle puppy is awkward to carry on stairs)
He will be growing quickly (approx 5 pounds a week) so we will keep everyone posted with more pictures as our boy grows.
He is too cute!!
Alex & Dan were thrilled to meet the newest family member on Saturday. In fact, Alex has already requested another visit to Duncan’s house! Enjoy – can’t wait to meet your ‘little’ man.
Oh my gosh is he cute!!! Dan told me to have a look at the Gillier Web. Most of you know my weakness for DOGS. Great name Duncan..it looks like it will suit him. Enjoy the little guy and I would love to meet him someday.
