We were very pleased to have some Gillier girls and their spouses visit us this weekend. Jean and Bill arrived on the 25th and then Rosemary and John were able to join us on the 27th.
On Saturday we went to the annual local volunteer fire department BBQ. Jean and Rosemary got a chance to see some neighbours they haven’t seen for years. The beer was cold, the door prizes plentiful (we ALL won something), and the meal was good.
Sunday was the day for stories and reminiscing. Jean brought Mom out for a luncheon BBQ and then Rosemary and Jean got into their sister stories… each had their own embellished version :) Laura had a blast listening to all the tall tales and thankfully my sisters managed to keep my dark past mostly confidential.
