Martha came home dancing on air today. She and some of her class made it on the front page of the Chatham Daily News.
“CLEANUP CREW: Georges P. Vanier students joins teacher Martha Gillier in a cleanup along Mud Creek Thursday, as part of Earth Week’s national Pitch-In campaign. The cleanup effort was coordinated by the municipality of Chatham-Kent in conjunction with Pitch-In Canada, a volunteer organization that has been working to beautify towns and cities since 1967.”
Anyone else find Martha’s story slightly ironic?
Clean-up crew eh??????
Sounds just like Martha. I guess she is gearing up to tackle the basement this summer. Keep up the good work, but the river bank sounds a bit too corny…….How about the homefront for the Gr.3. class. That would really make the front page for a double header.
Can I have an autographed copy? It must have been a slow news day, Front Page! It reminds me of when we lived in Calgary and they sent us the Chatham Daily News before we moved their, “Dog Finds New Home” on the front page. This is a family first! Front Page! Wow!
I also find it ironic. You should bring the kids over to help with your basement.
