Merry Christmas, 2005

I hope that everyone has their birds in the oven by now, gone to church and opened their presents and not necessarily in that order. We had a fun time last night celebrating Christmas Eve. I hosted our family get together and decided on doing appetizers, salads and desserts. It was so much more relaxing for all. (Especially for me not having to worry about serving everyone). The weather is mild and the snow has practically melted. The house is quiet now, the boys enjoying their gifts. The item of choice is electronic of course so they are busy getting familiar with set up etc. Have a happy day all. Images available here.

  1. Merry Christmas everyone. Last night Jackie and Josh came over and we had a warm family Christmas Eve watching movies and noshing on snacks. Everyone is definitely in the holiday mode.
What a beautiful day it is today. Tom went and brought Irene out and John and Rosemary just arrived. We have Canadian and Corona on ice. Supper is almost ready. We are having honey spice glazed ham and a roasted turkey breast. For dessert Laura made a chocolate cheese cake and an apple pie. Santa was very generous as always bringing a 60 inch Sony HDTV. You can tell what we will be doing over the holidays. Have a great Christmas.
    Love Martha
