We had a small hall rented in Caledon East so that friends could stop in and wish Rosemary a Happy Birthday. It remained a surprise and was good to see Rosemary’s face happy and surprised in front of old friends/customers from her many years with them all.
We plan to do it again in another 50.

Congratulations Rosemary on your “half century” mark. I still remember the days of your visits to Kentucky and having to keep an eye on my apartment neighbors to make sure they were not hitting on my young teenage sister-in-law (that everyone thought was at least 18).
I looked up the word ancient and found that Webster defined as “having had an existence of many years” and “having the qualities of age or long existence”. With these two thoughts in mind I hope that we all are striving to become “ancient”. (And Jean says that just remember Tom, Your Not Too Far Behind Me!)
