We enjoyed our road trip to Kentucky last week.  As we drove further south, it was as if Spring turned to Summer in a matter of hours.   Activities over the week ranged from sightseeing, visiting , dining in, dining out to shopping for summer clothes.

We stopped the first night just south of Dayton in Miamisburg at the Comfort Suites sporting a very large cherry tree in full bloom.  We decided on Red Lobster for dinner enjoying two of the crabby Monday’s specials and after a very comfortable sleep, we took a morning swim, showered and sampled the hot breakfast buffet provided.  We arrived mid afternoon in time to enjoy warm sun on the back deck, cold drinks in hand.

Kentucky was beautiful with its landmarks, hills, rivers and southern towns. What a perfect time of year to tour.  Thanks so much to Jean & Bill for your hospitality. It was so great to get a chance to visit for more than just a day.
