First HBC Purchase

Today Tom ventured down to Windsor to look for lawn furniture and he came home with a Beauty! It is the set Nick took pictures of from HBC. Thanks Eileen… you have impeccable taste. Yeah… Tonight we will assemble it and have Caesars by the pond.

  1. Yeah. It will look so great on your deck. All you have to do is open up the garden doors to enjoy the beautiful outdoors under the umbrella (of course. Hopefully your backyard is protected from the gusting winds that you get out front. Coffee and toast in the morning on the terrace sounds great. Tom, have fun putting it all together. Just in time for Jean and Bill, good timing.

  3. I just couldn’t find a good quality patio set that was built sturdy/long lasting, so I just bought what I call the typical cheapo disposable set. It seems the average Canadian consumer wants cheap products and damn the quality of construction. Sad As expected, two of the chairs must be returned because they came out of the box bent.
    Eileen… I did use Martha’s HBC cards and got the extra 10% off. I thought it amusing they took her cards without question and let me sign on the slip. No ID — nada! I must have a trusting face or… maybe they thought I was a woman
