Thamesville Parade

thamesville_parade.jpgWhat a Weekend for Chatham Kent! On Friday evening Tom, Laura, and myself ventured to Thamesville for the Thrashing Days Festival Parade. We parked our lawn chairs by the hotel’s patio and had a good view with the sun at our backs.

Cubby was on the patio, so of course we had a brew together before the parade marshal went by. It was another great parade with lots of horses, tractors, old cars, floats, and of course Shriners and my favourite the firemen and their firetrucks. We saw Joey Roesch on his restored Ford tractor and Wes Thompson was having fun driving his antique fire truck. We had lots of fun and Laura even caught a string of Mardi Gras beads.
