His first visit to Canada was in 1966 and he has finally returned but now with his 15 yr old son, Juan Jr.

Juan Puron was an 11 year old exchange student from Mexico that chose Canada as his destination to learn and hone his English skills. He must have enjoyed himself because he kept coming back each summer season well into his teen years. In decades past the Gilliers have had the pleasure of visits from most of Juan’s siblings (including his parents) and this year Juan and his son arrived on bicycles to tour Ontario almost 40 years later. His early memories of Canada are exact and detailed and he wishes to share new experiences with his son on their bicycle journey through Ontario.
