Howdy. I wonder how many Canadians were watching the parade on t.v. when Germany was fighting for third place with Portugal. I was switching from station to station. It looks like you Calgarians are getting those beautiful Alberta blue skies. Have fun at the Stampede.

Ya Hoo, Tom and I watched the Calgary Stampede Parade too. I was watching for the Canadian Cowgirls precision horse drill team. It is Terry Jenkins group from TJ Stables in Chatham. They won the first place trophy for best horse group. We PVR’d it so we could zip past the commercials ;-)
I laughed when the TV announcer mumbled his surprise that an Ontario group had won the best horse category. He then proceeded to explain that the “Chatham area is considered a ranching community”.
I better sign off now and round them chickens up in the north pasture and drive them into the box canyon before nightfall. Them damn coyotes have been raising hell with my herd.

We too were watching for the TJ Stables group – though we missed the ‘Ranching’ Commentary on Chatham-Kent. Guess I must’ve been heading to the ‘back 40’ to milk cows :roflol:
