The 6th Annual Retrofest was held in Chatham this weekend and it seemed to be a well attended event. Friday was the Classic Cruise night and Saturday was the Car Show on King St followed by a Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band for a BeachFreeze Party in the evening. The temps during the dance fell down to 10°C and unfortunately the attendance suffered for it. We still had a good time plus our share of the Margaritas. oh Tom… the blog looks a wee bit different. You have added a new feature on the left hand side with little yellow comment bubbles. What a great idea to add this feature. You are an amazing programmer and always doing stuff to better the “user friendly” tools for the relatives using the family blog. Thanks
Thanks Eileen. The pop-up link preview feature had all the programing pre-packaged so it was no big deal implementing it here. It should automatically work for any external links in our family blog (+6yrs old now) without special coding. I’m still wondering if it’s worth accepting an ad supported tweak on to our family site [although our browsers adblock stops the ads]. Snapshots has some bandwidth cost so I’m wondering if it affects dial-up readers (if they ignore the preview bubbles)?
I forgot to tell you that I thought that this rainbow picture taken the other day is one of your best you have taken so far. It is my wallpaper now.
