Happy New Year everyone. Last night Eileen hosted a lovely party on Bramsey Drive. Cindy and Gig and kids joined us while Stevo headed out to his own shindig party for 16 year olds. We indulged in a wine called Fat Cat, more Shiraz Cabernet, crab cakes, bacon wrapped scallops, green apple caramel dip, pate, hot salami and cheeses for snacks. A late night dinner was served. Eileen outdid herself again with a lovely honey glazed spiral ham, green beans, whipped squash, asparagus and scalloped potatoes for our late night supper. Desserts were enjoyed after the ball dropped in Time Square. We retreated to the hot tub with wine glasses in hand and enjoyed toasting in the new year with bubbly champagne. Everyone behaved themselves (not) and were in bed by 3:30 am. The boys server 10:30 Mass at St Christopher’s this morning followed by a lovely brunch at Cecile’s. Today we rested!
I’m Glad You Found Your Way
Welcome to our new software location for our blog. For the time being I’m going to leave the default template (look) as is until I get all the bugs worked out. Don’t be surprised if things work a little strange until I get this software modified to my liking. In the mean time post away and don’t forget to update your bookmark.

Christmas Draws to a Close
Merry Christmas and Season’s Greetings All!
It was a bountiful Christmas yule tide for the Gillier’s this year. Very thankful and happy with lots of lounging and eating and chatting. We are experiencing a beautiful white Christmas this year, not house bound but warm and cozy! On Christmas Eve big snowflakes gently drifted down and hung on the trees blanketing the landscape – looking so pretty.

Jaclyn gets creamed by Windstar mini-van

Jaclyn got hit by a mini-van on Thursday night while dashing across the street to catch a street car connection. She was on her way home from dropping off a project at 11pm and tried to get to the stop before it left. BAM! She goes flying about 6 feet in the air and hits the pavement skidding. The minivan gets the front end smashed up, the windshield broke in, and Jaclyn’s on the ground wondering what happened.

Santa Day Parade
Laura and her friend Jenny left this morning to be in Chatham’s Christmas Day Parade. They helped the local letter carriers union hand out candy and collected children’s letters to Santa as the parade wound it’s way through the downtown route. Tonight called for a girls sleep over and gingerbread crafts.
We’re moving…
Not Martha and I… just our web hosting computer. I’m upgrading to a larger reseller package, but remaining with the same great hosting company. I was running out of server room because I picked up a few more clients that require web hosting. You may see a few moving hiccups for the domain 4tg.ca (web and email), but the others should move transparently. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.
[EDIT Dec 6th] DONE!There were a few hiccups but all seems to be working now.
I hate server moves!
Landscaping Project Halted until Spring
Due to the ground being frozen solid every morning, I told the landscaper to call it quits for this year. We had a good run, but it would just be a waste of money and time to continue this late in the season. Hopefully the basement windows will come in before Christmas and we can get those installed before it gets too cold to work outside.
