Getting to look a lot like Winter

snow1.jpgThis morning we woke up to giggles and cheers of ‘Look at all the snow’! We are experiencing our first snowfall and accumulation for the season. By the looks of the road the snow plough has not made it down our way yet and we will have to search our garage for the snow shovel. Horray winter is finally here

Hardwood HillsHi everyone, Brian here, I guess that you are all thinking that I am crazy. Tomorrow at 9:30am I will be hitting the trails at Hardwood Hills. I’m not really in shape yet for the ski season as I missed the fall fitness training program. Having the flu really set me back. I’m hoping that when I get to Hardwood tomorrow that my brand new shiny red skis will be there, they have been handpicked from the Peltonen Factory in Finland. The skiis are specific to my weight and height for optimal performance!

First Snow of the Season

1st snow of 2005Laura and Martha awoke today with visions of a “snow day” in their heads but alas it was only buses that were canceled. While they packed up for school, I backed the car up onto the road (also not plowed yet) so they could trundle off into town. It looks like we got about 10 inches of snow over night and it’s our first accumulation for the season. Jaclyn had today off work, so her and Josh went to Toronto to visit with some close friends for the weekend. It’s starting to look a lot like Christmas. :xmascheer
