deck chairIt was so nice yesterday that I thought that I would go out and sit in the sun, read my book and sip a cup of coffee. One problem! The snow was piled up and I quickly retreated back inside. Here are a few sights around our place this beautiful spring March day. photo album link

Getting to look a lot like Winter

snow1.jpgThis morning we woke up to giggles and cheers of ‘Look at all the snow’! We are experiencing our first snowfall and accumulation for the season. By the looks of the road the snow plough has not made it down our way yet and we will have to search our garage for the snow shovel. Happy Easter ’07

I hope that everyone has a wonderful Easter Holiday. Can you believe the cold weather that is expected for the weekend! I am waiting for the big snowfall to happen. My favourite season of the year has come! I can hardly wait to hit those trail up North. I have my first race next week. Wish me luck! Just think of it, I will be going from a winter wonderland to a tropical paradise in under a week!

The wings all beating in unison and this strange sound of them slicing through the air. It sounded like the whirling of a bicycle race whizzing by your side and I sensed that slight tug of air. I couldn’t believe how close they flew and by the time the seventh or eighth flock flew directly overhead, it finally dawned on me to go grab a camera. Continue reading
